Automatic Transmission
Fluid ATF-DW-1
Genuine Factory Honda ATF-DW-1 fluid. Replaces
ATF-Z1 and is mixable with Z1. Specifically formulated for Honda's
newer automatic transmissions. Don't risk putting something else that
'should' work in your Honda. ATF-DW-1 is matched to the materials
in your transmission, insuring a proper match of lubrication and friction
to ensure a long life and proper shifts.
A simple drain and fill of the transmission every couple oil changes
will help ensure the fluid stays clean and working at its best. While
a drain and fill doesn't remove all of the ATF-DW-1, if done on a
regular basis it will continually swap out old for new. Sold in 1
quart bottles
Note: 2011 and newer Hondas come with DW-1 from the factory, DW1 is Honda's replacement for the old Z1 ATF and
is fully compatible/mixable with the old Z1 ATF.
